ABAP Development Manager

• Defines and leads the ABAP development strategy aligned with the Group’s SAP roadmap.
• Establishes and governs ABAP development standards, including coding, review, transport and documentation.
• Acts as the technical authority for ABAP design decisions, WRICEF objects, enhancements and custom developments.
• Holds end-to-end accountability for the delivery, quality and effectiveness of ABAP development across projects and operations.
• Ensures ABAP solutions meet business, performance, security and scalability requirements.
• Works closely with Functional Consultants, Enterprise Architects and Application Managers.
• Manages the full ABAP lifecycle from analysis and design through development, testing, deployment and production support.
• Ensures compliance with Change and Release Management processes and transport controls.
• Leads the resolution of critical ABAP-related production incidents.
• Manages and evaluates ABAP vendors, outsourcing partners and system integrators.
• Controls resource allocation, development cost and productivity.
• Contributes to improving the technical maturity of the SAP landscape.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• SAP certifications (ABAP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, or related technologies) are highly desirable.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in SAP ABAP development, including at least 3–5 years in a leadership or people management role.
